Walsenburg hires administrator to start in late October

By David Rinehart –(Published: Sept. 21, 2017) James Toth of Valparaiso, Indiana has been hired by the City of Walsenburg to be the new City Administrator.

According to Interim City Administrator Steve Rabe, Toth should start with the city “around October 23.”

Toth has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Indiana State University and was Town Manager for the town of Dyer, Indiana. He most recently retired after serving many years as an investment advisor. Formal approval of his employment agreement is expected at the next council meeting.
